With An Easy Job, I set out to tell a story with depth and resonance, proving that powerful filmmaking doesn’t require a massive budget. This short drama began as a simple concept in 2022, designed to be logistically manageable while delivering an emotionally impactful narrative. Leveraging my connections in Portland's production community and GMS Media, I wrote, produced, and directed the film on a budget of just $4,000. From assembling a talented cast and crew to scouting locations and sourcing equipment, I took charge of every aspect of the production process, ensuring a seamless shoot in September 2022.
The work didn’t stop after production. In post, I personally handled editing, sound effects, Foley, sound design, music, graphics, and color grading to create a polished final cut that I’m proud to present. The film is currently on its way to the festival circuit, with a theatrical release slated for 2025. An Easy Job represents not just a creative accomplishment but a testament to my ability to bring a vision to life from start to finish.
