The Idea:

This project had a simple mission to it. As a photographer working with subjects and mainly with a digital camera, I am used to working in fast-paced environments that need to show results right then and there. In this instance, I wanted to make sure that I was able to disconnect from that side of photography and focus more on the setting I was in and the intentionality of each photo I took. Using old 35mm and Medium Format film cameras, I documented what I saw on my 10 day trip across the Western United States at different National and State Parks. You can see photos in:

  1. Bryce Canyon
  2. Kodachrome Valley
  3. Bonneville Salt Flats
  4. Valley of Fire
  5. Death Valley
  6. Lake Tahoe
  7. Seven Magic Mountains

It was an amazing trip and everything you see is what I was able to see. What a beautiful world we live in.
